Concorde, a plane loved by all. Once and still the greatest plane ever built. There ARE still plans to bring the jet back, but they are highly confidential. The jet cruised at 60,000 feet at Mach 2.0 (1350mph) and could reach to New York within 3 Hours and 50 Minutes. The incredible design of it shows the time and effort that British and French engineers dedicate to create a thing of beauty in the sky, and would still look modern today if ever put back into service. The unique design allows complete control over the aircraft and is incredibly aerodynamic in so many ways. Fliers quote that the aircraft is 'a dream' to fly. Frequent fliers were instantly recognized by crew and orders would be known instantly due to each frequent passenger. The Concorde was British Airways' pride and it's flagship Aircraft. The aircraft was removed from service after a crash in 2000. The devastation was incredible at the least. After the crash, British Airways and Air France worked day and night to redesign and check all the systems. The cockpit was redesigned and the cabin was to, to fit the Aviation standards of the new century.
